  Texas at Austin. \n&nbsp\;\nOur conference seeks to foster an understandi
 ng of the key contemporary issues impacting Latina/o students across the e
 ducational pipeline (Pre-K-higher education) along with discussing how uni
 versities can have greater partnerships with community schools.&nbsp\;\n&n
 bsp\;\nOur conference will feature a panel\, “Serving Latino Students: A C
 onversation with Community &amp\; Campus Educators\,” featuring:&nbsp\;\nM
 oderator: Luz Murillo\, Ph.D.\, Department of Curriculum &amp\; Instructio
 n\nMaria Alanis\, M.A.\, Director of ESL/Bilingual Education for Champaign
  Unit 4 Schools\nGioconda Perez\, Ph.D.\, Director of La Casa Cultural Lat
 ina\nAlicia Rodriguez\, Ph.D.\, Academic Advisor\, luisDepartment of Latin
 a/o Studies\nJoseph Wiemelt\, Ed.D.\, Director of Equity &amp\; Student Le
 arning/Multicultural Programs for Urbana School District 116&nbsp\;\nRefre
 shments and snacks will be provided throughout conference proceedings.&nbs
 p\;The conference will conclude with a dinner and networking reception!!!&
