DESCRIPTION:A range of new devices in the last decade have allowed us to mo

  collaborative learning (CSCL)\, and consider a wider range of interaction
 s and learning opportunities with and through technology. For the study of
  CSCL\, these technologies provide vast opportunities to change the way in
  which learning happens in classrooms and the way in which teachers orches
 trate the learning process. In this talk\, I will share data from my previ
 ous work in the multi-touch classroom in the UK\, and initial work on a pr
 oject examining creating classroom technology to teach engineering practic
