DESCRIPTION:Eight Education faculty and administrators from four public res
 earch universities in Indonesia are visiting UIUC as part of a five-year d
 evelopment project funded by USAID.&nbsp\;The purpose of the HELM project 
 (Higher Education Leadership and Management) is to expand and strengthen t
 he public higher education sector in Indonesia and\, specifically\, to ass
 ist in strenghtening academic programs that educate the next generation re
 searchers and leaders\, affect change in institutional and government poli
 cy\, and provide outreach and professional development to current and futu
 re higher education policy makers\, administrators\, and faculty.\nThe foc
 us of the visit is on online learning and teaching\, including online poli
 cy\, pedagogy\, administration\, infrastructure\, curriculum\, delivery op
 tions\, instructor/student preparation\, and evaluation.&nbsp\;\nWe cordin
 ally invite all faculty\, staff\, students at the college to join our rece
 ption and have an informal conversation with our visitors.
