Her work focuses on the theory and praxis of retaining t eachers of color through professional development. She is dedicated to adv ocating for educational equity and disrupting and dismantling the systems that perpetuate the marginalization of students and teachers of color. She recently earned her Doctor of Education in Education Policy\, Organizatio n and Leadership with a concentration in Diversity and Equity in Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).Wendy Spencer& nbsp\;received a B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin Whitew ater with a major in English Education and a minor in Special Education.
