Current Faculty Awards in Special Education

Congratulations to the following faculty in Special Education
who have received Campus and College Awards in 2009:

Associate Professor Rosa Milagros Santos has been selected to receive the Campus Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching -- Faculty in 2009.  This is an extraordinary honor as only one or two faculty on campus are selected for this award each year.

Professor Michaelene Ostrosky was one of six UIUC faculty members awarded in 2009 with the honored designation, University Scholar.  The University Scholars program recognizes excellence while helping to identify and retain the university's most talented teachers, scholars and researchers.

Professor Susan Fowler has been selected to receive the 2009 Spitze-Mather Faculty Award for Excellence by the College of Education.

Suzanne Lee has been selected to receive the 2008-09 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award for Faculty by the College of Education.
