
Sense Making in Mathematics and Science:
A new master's program in mathematics and science content and pedagogy for the elementary teacher
The University of Illinois is offering a new master’s program designed specifically for Decatur teachers.
The program helps elementary teachers make sense of science and mathematics, and exposes teachers to the most recent developments in mathematics, science and education. The program focuses on how to help children make sense of math and science.
Connections between University classes and teachers' classes are an integral part of this program.
