Minor in Secondary School Teaching
Students who wish to apply for admission to the Minor in Secondary School Teaching must have at least 60 hours completed (junior standing) by the desired term of entry and a competitive UIUC and cumulative grade point average. (At least a 2.50 UI and cumulative grade point average are required to apply. A minimum 2.5 grade point average is required in the UI major courses at the time of application.) In addition, students must have completed by the term of entry a required course pattern in the desired LAS major as listed below.
