Masters of Education in Educational Psychology
With an Emphasis in Curriculum Technology and Education Reform (CTER)
CTER is an exciting graduate program which offers courses that let students experience advanced learning technologies first-hand. Students learn theories and practice behind technology integration, and also become equipped with skills to evaluate the incorporation of technology through projects that can be developed around various types of learning environments or other professional interests. Technology courses are updated to reflect the most up-to-date applications that can be directly applied in classrooms and various other instructional settings. A course in grant writing prepares students for proposals that lead to educational reform. CTER graduates apply the technology and skills they learned directly into their classrooms and workplaces.
While our courses are geared towards practicing teachers in K-12, other students, such as college-level instructors, technology coordinators, school administrators, and those involved in private or commercial learning sectors have successfully completed and utilized our program as well. Since CTER courses are project-based, students have opportunities to develop projects based on their professional interests.
Our graduates become leaders in technology integration and become equipped with the skills and knowledge to carry out educational reform and to move up to higher level positions.
The Department of Educational Psychology is accepting applications until June 22, 2009 for Fall 2009 admission .
