Bilingual/ESL Endorsement Online

The Bilingual/ESL Endorsement program represents an opportunity to build upon the shared expertise of C&I faculty and faculty in the Linguistics Department.

Students will study foundations of bilingual and ESL education, second language acquisition, cultural and linguistic diversity, and different methods of teaching, learning and assessment in bilingual and ESL environments. This program targets a national audience interested in P-12 bilingual and ESL education for classroom teachers and provides the necessary coursework for the State of Illinois Bilingual endorsement and the State of Illinois ESL endorsement.

Registration for the online Bilingual/ ESL Endorsement is open. You may enter a cohort at any time in any semester. Course sequence is not essential.
