Section 10: Accessing and Navigating Online Courses

New Student Orientation Moodle

This section is a gateway to Part II of the New Student Orientation. It will intoduce you to your Learning Management System (Moodle) and Blackboard Collaborate (Elluminate).

Your Moodle training will span the course of one week to ensure that you are as familiar as possible with the learning system. Please ask any questions you may have about Moodle because we want the transition to be as smooth as possible for you!

Your Moodle training is self-directed and self-sustained, which means that you access Moodle at your own convenience, and learn how much you feel is sufficient. However, within you practice Moodle there will be modules and assignments that must be completed prior to your course’s start date. By completing your practice Moodle early, you will know how to work in Education Online, as well as find any potential issues that may arise.
