Hosted by the College of Education, the Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment (CREA) will hold its fourth international conference Sept. 27-29, 2017, in Chicago. The title of the 2017 conference is “Evidence Matters: Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment Translating to Action and Impact in Challenging Times.”
The purpose of the conference is to address issues of community unrest related to racism as well as inequities in education and beyond. The goal is to raise questions about what is being done to correct these inequities and translate evidence into action so that meaningful improvements occur.
CREA is accepting proposals, papers, and roundtable suggestions for the conference through Feb. 20, 2017.
