Chronicle of Higher Education (July 24) -- Chris Span, associate dean and associate professor of educational policy studies, was one of three University of Illinois professors featured in a recent article about mid-career faculty members. Illinois began offering a set of workshops for faculty members who recently achieved tenure to assist them in navigating the new levels of responsibilities associated with the promotion.
