Despite decades of national and local reforms, a growing education debt inhibits the achievement of lower-income students of color. Without students' own voices and perspectives, educational reform will continue to miss the mark. Speaker Limarys Caraballo of Queens College of the City University of New York will discuss how it is crucial for students to participate in much-needed reframing of teaching and learning in schools.
