Academic ethics and integrity are important principles that anybody who wants to step into academia must be familiar with. However, the increasingly global research environment and differing cultural backgrounds that researchers come from cause confusions in understanding and implementing the principles at times. As a senior scholar who has extensive research experience and recently won the outstanding human resource development (HRD) research award from the Academy of Human Resource Development this year, Professor Kuchinke will start from the American Psychology Association guidelines on academic ethics and integrity to lead discussions on the topic with graduate students and faculty interested.
