On February 27th, Morgan Johnston will present "Renewable Energy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign."
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign signed the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment in 2008, pledging to be carbon neutral by 2050. One part of the overall Climate Action Plan is to increase the use of renewable energy generation for our campus power requirements. This presentation will review the progress toward increased use of renewables for our campus, and discuss current efforts underway.
