Step 3: Passwords

The University of Illinois has several separate passwords for its systems. The Password Management Table will help you manage the logins and passwords that the University requires for its on-campus and online students. We strongly recommend using this form since you will use some of these passwords only a couple of times during each term.

Download and print the Password Management Table (PDF). (You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download this table.) The steps on the table will explain how to begin acquiring your passwords. Fill in the boxes as you receive the information and keep it in a secure place. Please note that your Login/NetID/Name will be the same throughout your time at UIUC. However, each password may be different. For most systems you'll have the option to change your initial password once you've logged in for the first time.
