Step 1: Introduction

During this HRE Online Orientation, you will complete 14 steps and several activities that will ensure your familiarity and provide an essential introduction to the HRE Online environment . By completing these tutorials, you ensure that you will be ready to begin the HRE Online program, and that you will have the most trouble-free experience possible. We will also make sure that your software and hardware are configured appropriately for this program (for reference please see our Technology Requirements Page). If you experience any technical difficulties during the orientation, please feel free to contact a member of the HRE Online Staff.

Depending on your proficiency and computer's configuration, this orientation will take between one and three hours to complete. You may quit any of the tutorials and continue them at a later date; simply keep track of which sections you have completed.

An orientation class will be held exactly one week prior to your first scheduled synchronous class time to further familiarize you with the HRE Online environment. This will ensure that you can join the first class session. It is very important that you complete all the orientation sections prior to the orientation class meeting! More information on this orientation synchronous session will be sent to you via email by the HRE Online program.
