Andrea Ellinger given research excellence award
At last week’s Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD) conference in Columbus, OH, Andrea Ellinger (Assistant Professor) was named as the recipient of the Richard A. Swanson Research Excellence Award. This honor is given for the outstanding Human Resource Development Quarterly article each year. This is the second time in three years that she has received the award. Her article, “Contextual factors influencing informal learning in a workplace setting: The case of "Reinventing Itself Company,” appeared in the fall 2005 issue.
At the conference, Professor Ellinger was also installed as a member of AHRD’s board of directors.
