The following are some other forms of financial aid. Availability
of some of these assistanships for EPS students can not be guaranteed,
but traditionally EPS students of good academic standing have
been successful in getting and sustaining such assistanships.
Educational
Theory Assistantships
| At least two quarter-time eleven-month assistanships that can be renewable at least for two years. Duties include working with the editing of the Educational Theory Journal and the Proceedings of the Philosophy of Education Society Conference . Rhetoric
| The Rhetoric Program at the English Department hires teaching assistants for RHET102 and RHET105. For further information, contact the English Department before April (for the next academic year). |

Communication
| The Department of Speech Communication hires teaching assistants for SPCOM101 and SPCOM102 before April (for the next academic year). For further information, contact the Speech Communication Department. |

| Every year the Center offers Fellowships and Asssistantships for students working in the areas of philosophy and ethics who are close to the dissertation stage. Students with an interdisciplinary approach are encouraged to apply. |
