  • Tim Cain received a Spencer Foundation Exemplary Dissertation Award, one of five awarded nationally for dissertations completed from 2003-2007
  • Richard Justice received the Donald Gehring Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Field of Student Affairs, from the Association for Student Judicial Affairs

  • Eunyoung has also received a 2007-08 ASHE/Lumina Dissertation Fellow award, and a Paul P. Fidler Research Grant by the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition and the University of South Carolina.
  • Deneca Winfrey has been named a UCEA Barbara L. Jackson Scholar for 2007-08.
  • Jervais McGlone has been selected to participate in the Twenty-Eighth Annual Graduate Student Policy Seminar, to be held immediately prior to the ASHE Annual Meeting in Louisville, KY Nov. 8-10, 2007.
