Research Biography

My research straddles philosophy of language (both Analytic and Continental) and mind, aesthetics, and international education. I have a strong interest in Kantian value theory as it relates to aesthetics,cognition,and human rights education. Currently, I am working in the areas of Kant's theory of judgement and Neuro-aesthetics, Neurophilosophy,and Education, and Environmental Aesthetics.I am the Editor for the Journal of Aesthetic Education, and serve as the Chair of Education for the American Society for Aesthetics.
