Password Protected Folders

 

Entire folders may be set up to require user authentication.  This offers a minimal amount of protection for content that should not be available to the public.

 

To set up a folder that you want protected, edit the properties.html file for that folder.  The dialog box looks like this:

 

When a user tries to access a page in a protected folder, they will be redirected to logon to the COE Intranet.  After logging on they will be redirected to the protected web page.  Every hour the user will need to logon again.
