All students are invited to participate in the College of Education Convocation upon completion of their graduate degrees. The College of Education follows the campus policy on participation.
- Candidates eligible to participate in the College of Education Convocation and campus-wide Commencement ceremonies include August 2015 graduates, December 2015 graduates, and May 2016 degree candidates.
- Doctoral candidates are not eligible to participate if they do not deposit by April 22, 2016.
- Doctoral and MA/MS candidates who have not completed all degree requirements including depositing a thesis or dissertation are not eligible to participate in the College Convocation nor campus-wide Commencement. Graduate Student Petitions requesting participation in the College Convocation are no longer accepted.
- Master of Education (EdM) and Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) degree candidates with 8 or fewer hours remaining who expect to complete their degree requirements in August 2016 may participate in the college convocation; however, their names will not appear in the printed College Convocation and campus-wide Commencement Programs until May 2017.
August 2016 CAS and EdM degree candidates must email their departmental contact in the Graduate Student Services Office of their intent to participate in the College Convocation. Failure to do so will prevent candidates from receiving important information.
