November 19, 2005
8:45 AM – 12:00 Noon
Beckman Institute, First Floor, Room 1005
Corner of Mathews and University
You are cordially invited to participate in the first reunion for participants in the 2005 Chancellor’s Summer Academy. At the reunion, school teams will share posters highlighting professional development activities and discuss their progress toward achieving their Strategic Action Plan goals. (Poster board is available from your principal so that each school team can prepare its posters.)
Each school team will also have time to work together to prepare a budget request for the $1,000 Chancellor’s Academy Grant. The Chancellor allocated these funds to support activities that will facilitate professional development opportunities, sustain collaboration, and enhance the achievement of Strategic Action Plan goals. (Each principal has been given a copy of the request for proposals for these grants.)
Free parking is available on the second floor in the parking garage just east of, and across the street from, the Beckman Institute. Please enter the building from the Circle Drive on the south side of the Institute.
We will conclude our reunion with a social gathering and lunch. Please RSVP to Cindy Reiter by email creiter@uiuc.edu or by telephone (244-7005) by November 9, 2005. We look forward to seeing and hearing from everyone!
