Online Course Management
Instructors in the College of Education are using course websites and course management systems to enhance classroom teaching by providing students access to digital course materials, hosting online discussions, and facilitating web-based projects. Course websites are also being used to provide assessment and practice opportunities for students. The Learning Design Lab in Room 10 can help you identify which course tools are right for you by providing information and consultation about existing model efforts and instructional design.
The Learning Design Lab can also provide training workshops, technical consulting, and software templates for instructors using campus supported course management systems or instructors creating their websites from scratch.
CITES Educational Technologies supports several web-based conferencing systems and course management systems, including Blackboard, WebCT, and others. Please visit the CITES EdTech Courseware page for more information.
