Photo Release Forms
All photos used for college promotional materials must have signed release forms for all recognizable persons pictured in the photo. Use these forms to obtain release rights for photography. A release form must also be signed when interviewing a minor or quoting them in a publication.
Guidelines for Using Photo Releases
When taking photos for the College, photographers should identify themselves and state how a photo could be used. They should then inquire if the students have already signed a photo release. If not, they should have blank photo releases on hand for the subjects to sign. If a student does not want to be photographed, it is expected that he/she will voice this opinion, and the photographer should avoid taking photos with this person.
Photo Conventions
Information on standard sizes for photos is available on our WIKI space at: Image Conventions for College of Education Web Site (CITES WIKI - requires AD authentication)
