College Mailing Lists

The college maintains a number of e-mail lists for official college use. For security reasons, details about these lists are not published on our public web site. If you need assistance with a mailing list, please contact the Communications Office at 217-244-8335.

ed-college-announcements Listserv Policies

ed-college-announcements is the announcements mailing list for the College of Education. It is intended for general announcements of interest to the College community. While membership in this list is automatic for most faculty, staff and graduate students, subscription is voluntary.

To unsubscribe from the list, click the link at the bottom of any ed-college-announcements email.

If you have problems changing your subscription status, email communications@education.illinois.edu.

Message Guidelines: What can be posted to the list

• Messages must be of interest to a clear majority of the list members. If the announcement is only of interest to a smaller part of this list, please use a more narrowly-directed mailing list. Contact the appropriate college department or communications@education.illinois.edu to determine an appropriate list.
• Messages must be free from solicitation. The college does not allow this list to be used for solicitation or advertising, except for fundraising efforts by college-affiliated professional and student groups, such as SAGE and the Office of Advancement.
• Invitations to events that are sponsored or co-sponsored by the college, or involve a significant number of our faculty (such as AERA-related events) are allowed.

We realize that everyone receives a lot of email, and we would like to utilize this list in the most efficient manner possible. The college reserves the right to refuse any message posted to this list for any reason.
