Unscheduled Service Interruption, 8/1/2005
At approximately 3pm today, August 1, 2005, we experienced a storage system failure due to operator error that lasted for nearly 30 minutes affecting the following services.

• College File and Print services (files.ed, printers.ed)
• College Web Services (www.ed)
• College Database Services (sql.ed)

Note that after a system halt like that which occurred today, Mac users will be unable to access Mac volumes until they are rebuilt by the server.
