Flow is a pleasurable state in activity engagement in which one perceives skill and task demands to be well-balanced (Csikszentmihalyi, 1990). Individuals who are higher in fluid ability experience a stronger sense of flow from more cognitively demanding activities; while those with lower levels of fluid ability have a strong flow experience for less demanding activities. Such experiences are important to understand motivational processes that engender an intellectually stimulating life-style. [From Payne, B. R., Jackson, S. A. Noh, S. R., & Stine-Morrow, E. A. L.
