CV
Broadly speaking, I am interested in lifespan cognitive development and how we compensate for or even rehabilitate age-related cognitive declines, such as working memory, attentional control and executive/inhibitory functions. My current interests include language processing and working memory in young and old population, eye-movement in reading and neural basis of cognitive aging. At the Beckman Institute, I am also interested in studies that can bridge the disciplinary boundaries among cognitive psychology, neuroscience and education.
In my spare time, I’d like to meet new friends and to do anything related to arts. I go to Krannert Center for Performing Arts regularly and I am planning on taking a contact dance class. I especially enjoy cooking and consider it a form of art. I like reading science fiction, financial, political and economical magazines. If I had not been a graduate student, I would have started up my own studio as a designer and writer.
