Long before joining The Adult Learning Lab, MaryTerese (MT) worked in the financial markets as a broker of US government securities. MT feels the fast-paced Wall Street environment was the perfect training ground for the often unpredictable schedule and unique demands of Senior Odyssey. As the Assistant Coordinator, MT’s duties vary widely and include supervising the coaches, developing the program curriculum, and ensuring the smooth running of the weekly Senior Odyssey meetings. Essentially, MT makes sure that Senior Odyssey is enjoyable for everyone by taking care of things behind the scene.

Outside of work, MT is a busy mother and volunteer. With her husband Bill, MT promotes scouting in St Joseph, where the Campbell’s reside, as well as the Champaign-Urbana area. MT’s twins are active in Girl Scouts and Boy scouts, and the family is so enthused with scouting they named their German shorthair pointer - Scout!
